1994-2000
1994 — first three stores "The Seventh Continent" were opened. First store "The Seventh Continent" has been opened on April, 7th, 1994 on Leninskiy prospect, 61/1. Two more stores were opened soon - on Mikluho-Maklaja street, д.18/2 and Bolshaya Lubjanka street, 12/2. Thus, "The Seventh Continent" became the first retail chain in Moscow.
Distinctive feature of stores work for the Russian market in the middle of 90s became: the round-the-clock work, a new level of service, wide assortment and high quality of the offered goods and services.
1995 — a famous store on Ohotniy Rjad was opened near the Red Squire.
1996 — Independent company PriceWaterhouseCoopers was appointed the official auditor of the company "The Seventh Continent".
1997 — two new stores "The Seventh Continent" were opened.
1998 — the beginning of a new stage in company’s development - the priority direction for "The Seventh Continent" becomes supermarkets in bedroom community with reasonable prices for all levels of the population and at the same time with high quality of products and services, traditional for the chain "The Seventh Continent". The Seventh store of the chain "The Seventh Continent" was opened.
1999 — stores quantity of the chain increased up to 9 stores.
2000 — stores quantity of the chain increased up to 15 stores.
