- Stores quantity of the chain increased up to 47 stores.
- Division of chain stores into three formats: "The Seventh Continent – Next-Door", "The Seventh Continent - the Supermarket", "The Seventh Continent - Five stars".
- Company "The Seventh Continent" became the winner of a special nomination "The Best retail chain" (a category "supermarkets") within the limits of the 7th All-Russia competition "The Best Russian enterprises", organized by the Russian union of industrialists and businessmen, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and Expert institute at support of the Russian Federation Government.
- The United Discount Card "SIX SEVENS" was presented. It is a unique project which has combined efforts of the leading chain companies of Russia. Owners of this card have an opportunity to use one card for getting discounts in stores of the following companies: "Starik Hottabych", "SportMaster", "Arbat Prestige", "Where. ru", "M. Video", "MVO" and "The Seventh Continent".
