- Opening the first shop in a hypermarket format. The first hypermarket registered under a brand "Our hypermarket" was opened in Moscow on the Bolshaya Cheremushkinskaya street, 1, in Trade Entertaining Center "RIO". The format "Our hypermarket" became essentially new and perspective format for the chain. Actually the chain "The Seventh Continent", operating in four formats, covers all key segments of the Russian retail market. Company plans include active development of a format "Our hypermarket" in regions.
- On February, 22nd, 2005 the Public register of trade marks and service marks of the Russian Federation has registered a trade mark "Our product", It’s legal owner is JSC "The Seventh Continent". Thus, the company got a Private label under a brand "Our product".
- Within the limits of strategy realization of regional expansion, JSC "The Seventh Continent" enters the market of promptly developing Kaliningrad city and Kaliningrad region, purchasing 11 stores of the chain "Altin". By the end of the same year 8 stores are opened in Kaliningrad under a brand "The Seventh Continent".
- Own meat and a baking production is opened.
- Company "The Seventh Continent" becomes the winner of National annual competition "Elite of the stock market - 2004" in a nomination "The Best project IPO".
Company "The Seventh Continent" receives the prestigious award of the leading investment company of the East Europe countries - EAST CAPITAL. The award in a nomination "Opening of year 2005" was adjudged to the company "The Seventh Continent" for high rates of growth, competent development strategy and a high management efficiency of the company.
