- On April, 14th, 2006 JSC "The Seventh Continent" and Deutsche UFG have declared successful closing of the transaction on the public offer of shares of JSC "The Seventh Continent" and obtaining of 6,6 billion roubles in the company. Deutsche UFG has represented itself as the Organizer, the Agent on stock floatation and the. Within the limits of the offer, 10 480 603 ordinary nominal shares of additional issue were sold (it made about 14% from the increased authorized capital of the Company), from which 723 546 shares were purchased by the shareholders, applied during the realization term of priority. The rest part of share issue of JSC "The Seventh Continent" in quantity of 9 757 057 shares was sold to the broad audience of the Russian and international investors. Demand for shares of the Company has exceeded the offer almost in 2 times.
- On April, 24th JSC "The Seventh Continent" and JSC " Sobinbank " have announced about realization of the new joint project "In store banking". The companies make a decision on purchase of 51% of shares ("The Seventh Continent") and 49% of shares (Sobinbank) of bank " Finservice ". Offices of this bank will be located in the stores of the chain "The Seventh Continent". Thus, company "The Seventh Continent" creates a convenient and reliable infrastructure for buyers, carrying out the strategy on discount and bonus programs by means of bank services.
- With the purpose of optimization of press delivery for consumers, publishing holding "Moscow Komsomolez" and JSC "The Seventh Continent" combine efforts in the innovative project on creation of JSC " RetailMediaGroup".

- On October, 12th the refurbished store "The Gastronomy Smolenskiy" is opened in the center of Moscow. It is very important event of the year as the format "Five stars" gets a new face and becomes a format of a premium class, which meets today’s requirements. In the nearest future the company plans to make rebranding of two stores – Trade Entertaining Centre "Atrium" and a store in "Ohotniy rjad".
