• The Company opened 3 hypermarkets and 3 supermarkets. Strengthened positions on the Ural market (Perm), entered new region (Yaroslavl), opened third hypermarket in Moscow.  
• On January 31st JSC "The Seventh Continent", made interest payment on loan from Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB). Total amount of the interest payment comprised USD 1.23 mn.
• On  March 19th  the bonds (02 series) of JSC "The Seventh Continent" were included in the MICEX "A" quotation list

• On 15th of April JSC "The Seventh Continent" became the winner of annual national IT Leader Prize. The JSC «Seventh Continent» and personally CIO of the Company Andrey V. Pachikin were awarded by special prize «For outstanding contribution to IT development in Russia».
• On 22nd of April "The Seventh Continent" team won the "Manager of the year" contest. Executives of JSC "The Seventh Continent" Oksana U. Chepikova and Andrey V. Pachikin became winners in following contests "Manager of the year- 2007" and "The best Department manager-2007".
• On 30th of April "The Seventh Continent" became a winner of VIII Russian contest "Golden nets - 2008" in The Best Supermarket Chain nomination. The Company wins this prize second year in a row.
• On June 19th JSC "The Seventh Continent" fully made second coupon payment on bonds (02 series, registration number 4-02-00462-H dated 26/12/2006). Annual interest coupon rate is 7,8%. According to the terms of issue the coupon is paid semi-annually. Total amount of coupon payment comprised 272,23 mn. rubles.
• On June 19th the Company consolidated 100% of the charter capital of LTD "Mis". By the agreement, after the finishing of development JSC "The Seventh Continent" becomes an owner of TLC in the city Rostov-on-Don. The total area of TLC is more than 78 thousands sq. meters.
• On June 21st Annual General meeting of Shareholders of the JSC "The Seventh Continent" and the first meeting of the newly appointed Board of Directors took place. On the date of the meeting responsibilities of the CJSC "The Seventh Continent - RT" as acting CEO of the Company expired. According to the decision of the Anuual General meeting of the Shareholders the new Board of Directors was appointed consisting of: Alexander U. Zanadvorov, Vladimir V. Karnaukhov, Galina I. Iliyashenko, Mikhail A. Naidishev, Nataliya V. Slepenkova.  Also two new members joined BD: Boris V. Morozov - CEO of CJSC "7K invest-holding" and  Igor V. Soglaev - Managing Director of investment company "Ust-Capital". At the same day the new Board of Directors made their first meeting. The Board of Directors appointed Stepan V. Kovalchuk as new CEO of the Company; Galina I. Iliyashenko became the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

• On July 30th JSC "The Seventh Continent" signed the loan agreement with the OJSC JSCB "ROSBANK" for credit line in the amount of USD 150 mn. due to December 29, 2008.
• On July 31st JSC "The Seventh Continent" fully made interest payment on loan from Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB). Total amount of the interest payment comprised USD 852.1 th..

• On October 2th the Headquarters moves in a new modern business center. The new address of the Company: 115114, Moscow, Letnikovskaya str., 10 b. 5.
• On October 7th on the XI summit "Trade in Russia" the Company is nominated with a first prize as "The most active and opened in Mass media Company".
• On November 7th Bank VTB opens 2,5 bln. rub. credit line to JSC "The Seventh Continent".
• The loan is given to JSC "The Seventh Continent" in the frames of government's retail sector support program.
• On November 11th after restoration the Company opens renewed historical store on Bolshaya Lubyanka. This central store was introduced in 1994 and became one of the first Moscow and Russian supermarkets.
• On November 13th"The Seventh Continent" signs the loan agreement with the OJSC JSCB "ROSBANK" for credit line in the amount of USD 150 mn.
• On December 18th the Company fully made third coupon payment on bonds (02 series, registration number 4-02-00462-H dated 26/12/2006) in the amount of 272,23 mn. rubles.
